Established finally in the 16th century and today the chronology
and history of the ancient and medieval world, appear to contain major
mistakes. It is understood and discussed over a long period of many outstanding
scientists. But to build a new, consistent concept of chronology has proven to
be a daunting task. Since 1975, the formulation of this problem was the Group
of mathematicians, mostly from the Moscow State University
Interesting results were obtained, published in scientific
periodicals, as well as separate monographs. We emphasize that the new concept
of chronology is based primarily on the analysis of historical sources, METHODS
of MODERN mathematical statistics and extensive COMPUTER calculations.
The challenge of chronology is to properly arrange events on
the timeline according to the information available in our Disposal
information. This task fits naturally the subject of modern mathematical
statistics, information theory. Methods of purely human sciences, such as
history, to resolve chronological issues are insufficient.
New chronology dictates a different psychological picture
perception of antiquity. Now the word ' antiquity ' should communicate with the
XV-XVII centuries CE, that is, the events, separated from us by 300-400. The
expression ' deep antiquity ' should now refer to the 13th-14th centuries AD
and the words ' deepest antiquity '-this is the 11th-12th century CE BEFORE the
10th-11th centuries AD is an ERA of SILENCE written documents.
Our analysis of the history and stories revealed the
startling fact. On the basis of mathematical methods applied by us proved that
Scaliger chronology, and thus Scaliger’s history 'ancient' and the Middle Ages,
is fundamentally wrong. Moreover, it turned out that our story right up to the
end of the XVI century, has been deliberately falsified in an era of XVII-XVIII
centuries.
